Format: Physical (Bring Your Own Laptop)

AI Explorer Boot Camp is a fun and interactive programme designed to introduce children to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Participants will discover how AI is used in everyday life, learn to communicate with AI tools such as ChatGPT, create AI-generated artwork and stories, and complete creative projects that encourage imagination and responsible use of technology.

The programme focuses on exploration, creativity, and hands-on activities in a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:

• Recognize examples of AI used in everyday life.
• Interact with AI tools through simple prompts and conversations.
• Create stories and images with the help of AI.
• Demonstrate creativity through AI-assisted artwork and posters.

Course Modules

Module 1 – What is AI and Where Do We See It?

Duration: 45 min

Children discover AI through:

• YouTube recommendations
• Siri and Google Assistant
• Face filters
• Games and robots
• Smart devices

Fun Activity: “Find AI Around You”

Module 2 – Talking with AI (ChatGPT)

Duration: 45 min

Children learn:

• How to ask questions to AI
• How AI answers questions
• Responsible and safe use of AI

Practice Questions:

• “Tell me a dinosaur joke.”
• “Write a story about a superhero cat.”
• “What would life be like on Mars?”

Module 3 – AI Quiz Challenge

Duration: 30 min

Team-based game:

• True or False
• Guess the AI
• AI or Human?
• Picture Guessing Challenge

Morning Break

Duration: 15 min

Module 4 – AI Drawing and Coloring Activity

Duration: 60 min

Children use AI-generated images to:

• Color animals
• Create fantasy creatures
• Design superheroes
• Decorate scenes

Module 5 – AI Storytelling Adventure

Duration: 60 min

Children create stories with AI.

Examples:

• Space Adventure
• Robot Best Friend
• Magic School
• Dinosaur Island

Outcome: Each child creates their own short storybook page.

Lunch Break

Duration: 45 min

Module 6 – Create an AI-Generated Poster

Duration: 75 min

Participants add:

Module 7 – Final Project: “My Future with AI” Poster Presentation
